Tremron Fence Installation: The Los Angeles Owner’s Guide
We install Tremron-compatible fence systems throughout Los Angeles, and a typical full installation runs $4130 – $10620 depending on linear footage, footing depth, and whether the existing fence needs full removal. Most owners discover they need us the same way: a post that’s leaning after winter rain, a panel that’s cracked at the corner, or a gate that suddenly won’t close because the whole frame has shifted. The part is rarely the problem. The installation underneath it is.
Los Angeles soil does specific things to fence footings, especially in older neighborhoods where clay expands and contracts through the seasons. A fence that looked square in October can be out of plumb by March. When you call us, we’ll tell you whether the panel is still salvageable or whether the real work is digging out and re-setting posts the right way.
Which Tremron Models This Applies To

Tremron manufactures concrete fence systems in several series lines, and compatibility matters more than most homeowners realize. The premium concrete panels come in standard widths of 6 feet and 8 feet, with post dimensions that vary between their residential and commercial lines. What looks like the same panel from across a yard may have a different tongue-and-groove profile on the edge, and that profile has to match the post channel or the panel will never seat correctly.
Here’s the gotcha we see regularly in Los Angeles: older Tremron installations from the 1990s and early 2000s used a post with a narrower internal channel than today’s production. If you’re replacing one damaged panel on an older fence, a new panel may not slide into the existing post without modification. That’s why we measure the post channel and the panel thickness on site before ordering anything. We won’t order against a guess.
On the OEM versus aftermarket question: we install both, and we’ll give you the straight trade-off. Tremron’s current production panels carry their own manufacturer warranty, and when the job is warranty-sensitive, we prefer OEM. For standard replacements where the fence is older and out of warranty, a quality aftermarket panel from a local Los Angeles concrete supplier can save you 20 – 30% with no meaningful difference in load strength. We’ll show you both numbers and let you decide.

Signs Your Tremron Fence Installation Is Failing
- Post lean at the base. This is a footing failure, not a post failure. The concrete footer has cracked or wasn’t poured deep enough for Los Angeles soil movement, and the post is now relying on the panel for lateral support. The panel will fail next.
- Hairline cracking at panel corners. Concrete panels expand and contract with temperature swings. When posts are set too tightly against the panel edge, that expansion has nowhere to go, and the corner is the first place the stress relieves itself. We see this most often on east-facing Los Angeles fences that catch full morning sun.
- Gap opening between panel and post. This means the panel has shifted within the channel, usually because the original installer didn’t shim or grout the joint. Water gets in, then rebar corrodes, then the next seismic event does real damage. In Los Angeles, seismic movement isn’t a hypothetical.
- Spalling on the post face. Flaking concrete on the post is water intrusion. Once moisture reaches the internal steel, the post starts degrading from the inside out. Pressure washing accelerates this if the installer didn’t seal the post caps.
- Gate sag or strike misalignment. A hanging gate puts constant torque on the hinge post. If the footing wasn’t sized for that load, the post will slowly rotate out of position. New hinges won’t fix it. The post needs to be pulled and re-set.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

A full Tremron-style concrete fence installation in Los Angeles runs $4130 – $10620. The low end covers roughly 40 – 50 linear feet with basic post replacement and new panels, assuming the existing footings are sound and we don’t hit buried surprises. The high end includes full removal of an old fence, new footings poured to Los Angeles depth standards, and additional linear footage.
What drives the spread: linear footage is the dominant factor, followed by whether the old posts can be reused, how much demolition is required, and whether your property sits on expansive soil that needs deeper footings. Some Los Angeles hillside lots also require an extra concrete pour because the grade itself shifts more than flat lots in the Valley.
Every quote we give is a written price before work starts. That price includes labor, materials, haul-away of the old fence, and our 365-Day Done Right Promise: if the fence develops a structural problem inside a full year, we return and correct it at no charge. You’ll have that guarantee in writing when the crew packs up. A live person answers our phone around the clock, so if something moves, you’re not leaving a voicemail and hoping.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely inspect the fence yourself. Walk the line, sight down each post, check for gaps at the panel joints, and look for flaking concrete near the base. That tells you what’s failing. Fixing it is a different question.
The danger here is weight. A single concrete panel weighs 180 – 240 pounds, and a post that’s leaning is under lateral load. When you pull the panel out, that load transfers somewhere, and if you’re not braced for it, it transfers to you. We’ve also seen DIY repairs where someone re-sets a post in a smaller footing than the original, and the fence fails again inside a year. Concrete fence work isn’t technically complicated, but it is physically specific: depth, rebar, drainage, cure time. Get any one wrong and you’re doing the job twice.
If you want to know whether your fence is safe to leave alone for now, call us at (903) 568-7222 and describe what you’re seeing. We’ll tell you straight whether it’s a monitor-it situation or a schedule-it situation. No service charge for the conversation.
FAQs

A properly installed Tremron concrete fence lasts 25 – 40 years in Los Angeles before the structural core needs attention. The panels themselves rarely fail; it’s the posts and footings that go first, usually between year 15 and year 25 depending on soil conditions and drainage. Call (903) 568-7222 for a footing inspection if your fence is older than 15 years.
Yes, if the panel crack is hairline and hasn’t exposed the internal rebar, a structural epoxy injection can stabilize it. If you can see steel or the panel is cracked through in two or more places, replacement is the honest answer and usually costs less than a repair that buys a few years. Call (903) 568-7222 and describe the crack, and we’ll tell you which situation you’re in.
A standard Tremron fence installation in Los Angeles takes 2 – 4 working days, depending on how many posts need new footings and how much demolition is involved. Concrete footings need cure time before we set weight on them, which is the main reason we don’t rush day two. We’ll give you a start-to-finish schedule in writing before we dig.
We stock replacement posts, panel shims, post caps, and gate hardware on our trucks for same-visit fixes on common Tremron profiles. Full panels are ordered to spec because the channel dimensions vary by series and production year, and we won’t install a panel that doesn’t match the exact post channel on your property. Call (903) 568-7222 for a free estimate, and we’ll confirm the exact compatibility before ordering anything.
